I don’t know what peeked our interest in flying to the Bahamas, but it sure seemed like a worthy adventure for us.  And our plane would be more than up for the challenge.

Preparations were huge.  One of the many things on our list of preparations was flight simulator time – flying the actual route out over the ocean – to 3 of the Bahama Islands and then back to Nebraska.
