Put on the crampons and take the ice axes out to the frozen water fall and have at it.  Well not exactly. The Ouray Ice Wall in Colorado draws some of the best ice climbers in the world.

We felt that we needed to experience ice climbing before we went to Alaska and climbed in the Denali Mountain Range.  Turns out that it was a great experience in itself.  So much so that we went back the following year to do it again.
