Very seldom does a single day in the life of a person change everything. Well it happened to me. The day was December 6, 2019. I had a stroke. Physically it was close to nothing but a 2 hour bout with confusion at Life Time Fitness. However, the event was to drastically change my being, my living style and my attitude about everything.

With in a week of the stroke I was out of the hospital and back to a normal active existence, however, I temporarily lost my aviation medical. Events lead to events. Throw in age and a couple more physical challenges and I found myself desperately searching for the adventures of my previous life.
Chapter 8 of “Exploits of a Common Adventurer Book II” has been the most difficult of all of my writing to unemotionally put together. Will readers find it compelling? Not sure. But I am sure that the stars and moon really did have to come into alignment for the above photo to even come into existence.
